It sucks up large items and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some other models, and it can even pick up pet hair without difficulty. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models. The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the standard hockey puck shape of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models. iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with a superior filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. It's a nice claim, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price tag. Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. This allows it to avoid obstacles like stairs and other barriers and to tidy up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that require more attention. 2. You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful for those who have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It can also clean up spills that are wet however I would recommend drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot into. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also comes with a self-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects. But while these functions are useful but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the luxury category which could make it somewhat more expensive than the average homeowner require.
